AADA members and their patients bring key dermatologic issues to the Hill
Facts at your Fingertips
By Emily Margosian, Assistant Editor, January 1, 2023
The AADA Legislative Conference returned in-person to Capitol Hill this past September, bringing critical dermatologic issues before members of Congress. Attendees included physicians, patients, patient advocates, and dermatology practice administrators.
AADA members unable to attend the conference were invited to participate in a “Virtual Fly-In” by sending letters to their members of Congress about dermatology’s legislative asks, culminating in more than 200 letters sent by over 190 AADA members.
Attendees were also encouraged to share their experiences on social media during their time at the conference. At least 32 tweets, seven LinkedIn posts, and 28 Instagram posts were shared with #AADAontheHill.
