Advanced Leadership Forum


Designed for physicians with 10 or more years of experience in practice, academia, or professional organizations, the Advanced Leadership Forum will strengthen leadership knowledge and skills required to lead and influence in later stages of careers and in more complex organizations and environments.

This weekend-long program brings together physician participants with senior leaders in dermatology and leadership subject matter experts to provide a thought-provoking and practical opportunity to advance leadership knowledge and strategy.

Applications for the 2027 Advanced Leadership Forum will open July 2026

Eligibility

  • Must be a member of the AAD in good standing

  • Must be 10 or more years since completion of terminal dermatology residency/fellowship training or must be 6 years past Leadership Forum attendance

  • Must not have attended Advanced Leadership Forum in the past

  • Must have interest in developing leadership skills around practice and advocacy

Program fee: Participants selected are required to pay a non-refundable program fee of $250. The Academy covers the remaining costs for all sessions and workshops, travel, lodging, and on-site meals.
