Introducing the AAD Clinical Community

The Academy is excited to introduce its online Clinical Community, a forum for dermatologists to discuss clinical issues and more. The forum is secure, organized, and moderated. It is also free to members of the Academy.

The first two clinical areas the Academy has added to the community are psoriasis and actinic keratosis (AK). The Academy will add other areas of discussion over time.

Turn to your AAD Clinical Community to:
  • Participate in an online forum by dermatologists for dermatologists, with a focus on the issues that are most important to you.

  • Learn from ongoing discussions on clinical issues, advocacy, practice management, guidelines, protocols, product usage, and more.

  • Add your own expert perspective on subjects specific to your interests and type of dermatology.

  • Be secure in your participation, because only dermatologists have access, the forum is moderated, and the platform is powered by DocMatter.

  • Continue conversations from meetings and publications.

  • Discover and share insight on new devices, medicines, services, and other products being used by your peers.

AAD Clinical Community and sponsored content

Headshot for Eva Hurst, MD, FAAD

“AAD’s corporate partners are committed to advancing the mission of the AAD and the science and practice of dermatology. As part of our ongoing collaboration, the AAD is pleased to feature educational content supported by and developed collaboratively with these partners in the AAD Clinical Community. The existing AAD Clinical Community that you have come to know and trust is not changing. Partner sponsored content will be clearly labeled and you are in control. You will have the option to opt-out of participation.”

─ Eva Hurst, MD, FAAD, Chair, Council on Member Services
