Public Health and Clinical Data Exchange objective bonus measures


Bonus measure scoring

The maximum you can earn is 5 bonus points, and reporting more than one measure will not result in more than 5 bonus points. These measure have no exclusions.

Measure: Public Health Registry Reporting (PI_PHCDRR_4)

DESCRIPTION
The MIPS eligible clinician is in active engagement with a public health agency to submit data to public health registries.

Note: If you report your melanoma cases to your state public health agency, you could qualify for this measure.
MAXIMUM POINTS

REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
YES/NO (this is an optional measure)


The MIPS eligible clinician must attest YES to being in active engagement with a public health agency to submit data to public health registries.

For multiple registry engagement, report as YES if there is active engagement with more than one public health registry.

OPTION 1/OPTION 2


In addition to submitting a response, MIPS eligible clinicians must submit their level of active engagement, either Pre-production and Validation or Validated Data Production for each measure they report.

Measure: Clinical Data Registry Reporting (PI_PHCDRR_5)

DESCRIPTION
The MIPS eligible clinician is in active engagement to submit data to a clinical data registry.

Note:
You can qualify for this measure if you integrate your EHR with the Academy’s registry DataDerm.

DESCRIPTION
The MIPS eligible clinician is in active engagement with a public health agency to submit syndromic surveillance data from an urgent care setting.

Note:
This measure is not usually applicable to dermatology.

YES/NO (this is an optional measure)

The MIPS eligible clinician must attest YES to being in active engagement with a public health agency to submit syndromic surveillance data from an urgent care setting.

For multiple registry engagement, report as YES if there is active engagement with more than one syndromic surveillance registry.
