I am going to be retiring at the end of the year. Does the Academy offer a discounted membership rate?

If you are currently retired, plan to retire later this year or the first half of next year, you may be eligible for Life Membership. Per the AAD Bylaws, the Life Membership category is open to all Academy members who meet the following criteria:
A member for at least 30 years who is retired (no longer practices for remuneration)
OR
A member who is retired from practice and permanently disabled
If you meet the requirements, we invite you to apply for Life Membership before the end of the year. The application can be found online in your account page on the menu to the left. Life Members are no longer required to pay dues but retain the benefits of their membership category.
Additional questions about Life Membership can be directed to Tina Matillano, senior specialist of membership operations, at TiMatillano@aad.org.
