AAD education goes digital
Facts at your fingertips
By Emily Margosian, assistant editor, November 1, 2020
In June, the AAD launched its first-ever virtual meeting experience — AAD VMX — to reflect the evolving needs of a post- COVID world. As many organizations have pivoted to digital learning models, a recent study from Harvard Business Review suggests that web conferencing may offer unexpected benefits, with 86% of participants reporting equal or higher levels of engagement as they experience in face-to-face meetings.
To date, nearly 4,500 attendees have remotely accessed AAD VMX. The event features 14 robust sessions covering topics such as therapeutics, cosmetics, psoriasis, hair disorders, and more — plus four late-breaking research sessions, a virtual exhibit hall, and over 900 ePosters. All material from the event is available on-demand through Dec. 31, 2020.
