Members can find a high-level summary on what dermatologists need to know about the restructured E/M codes in the AAD’s Coding Resource Center.
The AAD also offers an updated E/M coding tool, designed to reflect the revised tenets of E/M coding for office and other outpatient services effective Jan. 1, 2021. Try it out by answering a few key questions to determine the appropriate code.
