Measuring member satisfaction
Facts at your fingertips
By Emily Margosian, assistant editor, September 1, 2021
In 2019, Academy leadership unveiled a new strategic plan to ensure all the work undertaken by the AAD/A on behalf of its members, their patients, and the public are guided by a clear vision, core values, and strategic goals. These core goals include:
Excellence in dermatologic care through education and advocacy
Access to dermatologic care
Data driven transformation of care
Unity of the specialty
Support for board-certified dermatologists leading care teams
View an illustrated version of the strategic plan. As part of Phase 1 of the strategic plan, the AAD surveyed members to gain their perspectives — at all career levels and practice types. Based on the results of the 2021 Member Satisfaction Survey, overall satisfaction has improved since the last survey in 2020.
