Free coding instruction modules for residents added to aad.org
We recently unveiled the long-awaited and much anticipated Resident’s Online Coding Education, otherwise known as ROCE.
The goal of ROCE is simple: help residents understand the basic fundamentals of coding. The course features 12 brief, narrated modules that tackle clinical concepts and key elements needed to adequately code and document the physician-patient encounter. The lessons boost knowledge in key areas of procedural and diagnostic coding, as well as governmental national correct coding initiatives. By preparing residents for the future with these skills, we are ensuring recent graduates — who become your colleagues and staff — come to your practice ready to code. And that makes ROCE something very special, indeed.
