Top drivers of dermatologist happiness

What do a solo practitioner and employee at a large health system have in common? The same things make them pretty happy. According to data from the AAD’s 2019 Life in Practice Study, dermatologists across all practice settings reported interactions with patients and physician autonomy as top drivers of happiness at their current jobs. On the opposite side of the spectrum, survey results revealed that fewer dermatologists are satisfied with their own benefits, management, and not surprisingly their EHR system.
