Advocating for you
We collaborate with the house of medicine to protect patients and your practice.
More than 150 dermatologists and patient advocates urged Congress to ensure Medicare stability and enact step therapy reform.
We successfully advocated for legislation in California that will improve step therapy protocols.
The AADA advocated for increased access to patch testing units for patients with allergic and contact dermatitis.
On our website and out in the world, we continue to position you as the experts, and the public is listening to you.
Thousands of Academy members have joined us on social media to tell the public about the value of choosing a board-certified dermatologist.
New content on AAD.org addresses topics the public wants to know about — and reminds them to see a dermatologist.
The AAD answered common patient questions and positioned dermatologists as the experts in skin, hair, and nails.
The Academy is ensuring that the public practices safe sun habits with its 2021 PSA campaign.
